BOSTON MUSICAL THEATER, based in Newton MA for 36 years is suspending operations. BMT is a vocal and instrumental ensemble specializing in the performance of cabarets and programs of classic American popular music both in the States and abroad. Permanent members of the group are Charlotte Kaufman, founder and director, Dan Loschen, pianist and musical director, Mara Bonde and David Ripley, vocals, Bertram Lehmann, percussion and Rich Appleman, bass. Frequent guest appearances by Jennifer Sheehan, vocals, greatly enhanced our ensemble. Some of the outstanding singers and instrumentalists who performed with BMT were vocalists Christian Figueroa, Patrice Wiliamson, Tynan Davis, and Allen Bonde, pianist.
